Job description: Job summary:
The People Team Assistant is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day HR operations.
People Generalist supports scanning and organizing all employee files saved and printed in the company’s electronic database and sanitizing old documents once they are complete.
Performs administrative duties such as entering human resource information system (HRIS) data, maintaining employee files electronically, following up email for employee time card issues, tracking bills, etc.
Assists talent acquisition team and internal hiring managers coordinate / schedule candidate interviews.
Assists with new recruitment directives / on-board initiatives, including tracking and tracking of new rental paperwork.
Maintains confidentiality of personnel files and employee procedures.
Assist employees and supervisors in basic interpretation of human resources policies and procedures.
Supports People Generalist with an annual training program including program preparation, scheduling / attending events, day-to-day support for interns / hiring managers, and coordination of training programs within the GROW Education Portal.
Provides inputs and solutions to management when recurrence of individual problems indicates negative trends.
Recommend new methods and procedures to bring about continuous improvement in the efficiency of management and services provided.
Provides written and operational support to business partners and public persons as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years university experience plus)
One to three years of similar or related work experience.
Fluency in Outlook and Word, with highly required Excel skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in oral and written form
